Wicket Software Form Factor

Dispel Wickets deploy on Ubuntu VMs.

The Dispel Wicket is the edge gateway installed on-premises that connects an installation to the Dispel Zero Trust Engine and enforces local security controls.

Wickets enable secure zero trust remote access, while also allowing data collection and streaming from multiple IIoT and equipment assets to cloud services and servers—all within a single unit.

Popular platforms for software Wickets

Dispel Wickets install on a variety of standard, commonly available systems.

Mitsubishi Electric

Through Dispel's patnership, Wickets are fully integrated with Mitsubishi Electric industrial devices including the iQ-R Series WinCPU R102WCPU-W or the RD55UP12-V C Intelligent Function Module.

OnLogic

OnLogic makes a line of industrial PCs, many of which are excellent candidates for Wicket deployments. The come in a range of sizes and mounting options. OnLogics are some of our most common hardware devices.

SEL

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories make robust industrial PCs for demanding physical environments. The SEL-3350 line has been extensively tested by Dispel for Wicket deployments and used by clients globally.

Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pis are admittedly more lightweight than we usually recommend deploying on, but they are very cost effective. You must meet the minimum requirements and have full Ubuntu on the device to run the Wicket software.

Intel NUC

Intel Next Unit of Computing (NUC) are a line of small-form-factor computers and barebone computer kits designed by Intel. The Dispel Wicket easily deploys on NUCs that meet the minimum system requirements.

VMWare

VMWare provides virtualization software that runs on top of existing equipment. Wickets can run on Ubuntu environments deployed in VMWare. Wickets can be distributed remotely through the system.

Multiple deployment methods, one powerful tool

Install Wickets at your OT DMZ, in the cloud, and on IT systems. Deploy Wickets between layers of the Purdue model or NATed networks to chain them together and bridge networks. Wickets are incredibly versatile edge gateways.
